Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find the questions that most customers of Japanese tractors ask. We answer these questions with the greatest competence, based on our long experience and qualifications.

Our experience shows that there is no absolute answer to this question. All brands Kubota, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Iseki, Shibaura, Hinomoto are equally good. They all have good and not so good models, and we do not import models that would cause problems to our customers. The market and competition make all these manufacturers compete endlessly to present the best product to their fans.

Choosing used Japanese tractor is an extremely complex task.

First of all, you should focus on the main features that will be useful to you depending on the type and size of the farm and the type of crops grown, such as power, dimensions, weight, inter-axle, cabin, frame, front loader, etc.

Then, you need to decide whether the extras of the newer models will be useful to you, which in turn depends on the budget you have allocated, since newer tractors have more extras, but are also more expensive. Speaking of extras, the most frequently mentioned ones for Japanese used tractors are FR gears, side tilt cylinder, 4x4, electro-hydraulic linkage, hydraulic steering, electronics on the transmission and linkage, air conditioning for tractors with a cabin, etc.

After all the parameters mentioned so far have been specified, you should focus on the physical selection of the machine. The most important thing here is the condition of the main components of the tractor - engine, chassis, transmission, hydraulics and linkage. The tractor's engine hours are partly indicative, but no less important is how the tractor was operated, under what weather conditions it worked and how it was maintained.

To make the right choice, it is best to trust our specialists, who are extremely qualified and professional. We have been importing tractors from Japan since 1999 and have gained extensive experience in the industry. We will do our best for you, as we believe that a satisfied customer is our best investment.

When we first imported compact used Japanese tractors to Bulgaria in 1999, we saw the potential in them and all we had to do was to convince the market. And that's exactly what happened. Today we import over 900 tractors a year and together with our competitors, the number of used Japanese tractors entering Bulgaria is over 2000 annually.

The tractors have been manufactured over the years for the Japanese market. They are truly different and stand the test of time by decades. The extras that 15-year-old tractors posses, have not yet been mastered by manufacturers for the European market.

Another reason is that Japanese compact tractors are designed for small and medium-sized farms, which are extremely typical of Japan, being mainly mountainous and densely populated. Many of the farms in Bulgaria are same like this. The tractor must be compact, robust, economical, ergonomic and modern.

Last but not least, the Japanese tractors we import are not worn out, due to the small farms in Japan. We very often see tractors with less than 1000 engine hours, despite their older age.

In conclusion, for little money, by buying a Japanese used tractor, you get a high-quality and well-preserved machine, distinguished by economy, ergonomics, compactness, durability and you manage to work your farm with ease and pleasure.

The import of Japanese compact used tractors into Europe is extremely strong and has been practiced for many years. The amount of tractors entering Europe is big. The demand for parts is high, which in turn initiates supply.

There are both original and spare parts from OEM or Aftermarket manufacturers. We import parts from Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, India and many other countries to fully cover the needs of our customers and our service.

It doesn't matter whether the tractor is Kubota, Yanmar, Iseki, Mitsubishi, Hinomoto or Shibaura. There are spare parts for all brands. For service, the brand also doesn't matter. Some models are easier to service, while others are more difficult for all brands of tractors.

Our long-term business experience with the Japanese has convinced us that they are extremely disciplined, responsible and honest. The used machines that we buy from them are always well serviced and repaired with original parts. At the slightest doubt about the condition and quality of the machine, it goes for scrap and is never sold for export.

In case the machine is eligible for use, it is evaluated in terms of condition and is sold for export. Depending on the condition and general wear, the price also varies. In any case, I advise you to bet on a new imported tractor.

Absolutely NOT. The small engines in compact Japanese tractors are approaching the emissions levels of new-generation Stage V tractors in the same power range.

For engines with higher power ratings of over 30 hp, to meet modern standards, they must be equipped with an advanced exhaust aftertreatment system, including a diesel particulate filter (DPF) to remove soot and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) using diesel exhaust fluid (DEF/AdBlue).

These components work together with the engine’s air and exhaust management systems to meet the stricter emission standards.
